SJG SEJUNG concentrates on strengthening our technologies for global competitiveness and developing and ensuring core technologies for sustainable growth SJG CENTRAL R&D CENTER, which is R&D Center of SJG SEJUNG has been pursuing research and development to adhere to a leading position in the global markets with the commitments of the highest-level researchers since its founding in 1993. Through SJG CENTRAL R&D CENTER, SJG SEJUNG is concentrating on developing the fuel economy enhancement technology, exhaust gas purification technology, lightweight products technology and exhaust system to respond global environmental regulations.

As a prerequisite for a global era, it is required to secure source technologies and develop new technologies for upholding our competitiveness and expanding our business. We built a creative R&D groundworks to adhere to the leading position in the global markets and to secure global core technologies as well as source technologies, and we and are also closely connecting with excellent foreign enterprises and research institutions to support the technologies. Through close cooperation, approximately 140 employees who are divided into 2 design teams, 1 interpretation team, 1 start team and 4 research teams develop the highest level of technologies that meet all of the stringent regulations.
MISSION
In order to secure engines for sustainable future growth, we are leading the way in eco-friendly fusion technology for automobile parts through research and development of smart electromechanical technology, which is the core technology of the automobile industry of the future.
We are focusing on enhancing existing technology and developing original technology as well as core technology for global distribution.
We are cultivating the research leaders of the future- are playing a leading role in cultivating excellent overseas human resources and are forming technology partnerships with advanced overseas companies.
PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT PROCESS
  • 1. Product Design Process

    This is the product design process based on our highly specialized expertise, accumulated experience and technology to realize maximal performance and functionality as needed by our customers.
    Through designing products that reflect the needs of our customers, we are able to maximize the efficiency of our products and ensure optimal performance and price competitiveness.
  • 2. Product Analysis Process

    Through flow and structure analysis of exhaust gas before developing a prototype, we set development completion schedules and minimized costs via optimized product-design plans and simulations (virtual product development), which will allow us to predict performance.
  • 3. Prototyping Process

    Through optimal design and simulation, we construct a complete PROTO SHOP, from proven specifications, parts and technology development to assembly, production and validation in order to develop high-quality prototypes based on advanced technology.
  • 4. Validation Process

    This step is to verify the performance and reliability of products through the evaluation process and system, which take into consideration the product use conditions.
